About Me

I am not, in fact, an actual horse.

Forever traveling, art, bjj, MT. I work mostly in real estate.

*** If you haven't left your country or state yet and bring me some local spices/tea/salt/craft beer/whatever is special to you, and I'll make it worth your while in kind if you're so inclined.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had some amazing interactions and great people help me out when traveling. I'm just trying to be the safe harbor and agent of chaos I'd want to find on a trip of my own.I always like to meet new well traveled people and exchange stories and ideas.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to pretty much everything but current country music. Ive been told recently "escape room" is the genre of my background music. Love movies, but don't watch much tv. Theres a projector and screen in the back yard, and we do "drive in" style showings when it's cool, so put in a vote for a movie when you're here! Avid reader, comic book nerd. DC is for people who don't understand character development and think Joseph Campbell made a lot of soup. Change my mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two truths and a lie:
One time I accidentally stumbled into a private Yakuza bar in Tokyo and ended up drinking with them all night. I managed to keep all my fingers. 🖐️⚔️🍻
Michael Cera once attempted to slap me at a sushi restaurant in the most forgettable of LA suburbs. He did not succeed. 👋🙅🏽‍♀️
I bought a motorcycle in Thailand and rode through 7 countries over 9 months with a woman that had a bionic leg and bifurcated tongue 🏍️

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm in the workshop/studio out back a lot working on art or projects, get in if you fit in. Getting fancier in the kitchen, always down to share knowledge and learn. *** Traveling Judo/Sambo/grapplers/Jitz players, I've got home mats if you want to share some knowledge/drill/roll, let's get it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a 1957 landcraft trailer/tiny home that I've remodeled as a proof of concept for a different project.. The trailer has its own full bath and full kitchen. Full size bed in the bedroom and the futon folds out to a full size bed. Microwave, stove and french press. Citrus near the axe targets, help yourself. I cook a lot so there may be a meal or two as well. Lots of good local craft beer and cocktail suggestions if you need them, and I'm pretty much always game to go grab a meal or drinks. You never know, I've ended up in Alaska with a surfer a week later, done impromptu Vegas road trips, camping trips, I will roll the dice if the opportunity presents itself genuinely. *** Full disclosure I've been crazy busy lately, so if you're looking for a full time guide I'm not the guy, but I can offer a clean, safe, and private space for you to stay, and hangouts as best I can manage. If it's an emergency you can message me even if it says I'm not accepting guests, I'll do what I can. Same goes for meals, if you're truly going to go without, message me and I'll sort you out. Travelers from out of country get priority on the trailer.
