About Me
Mr. Jean Paul Ngueya is one of the most dedicated and tireless advocates, expert in care, emotional and social support of people affected and infected by the HIV virus. He has worked in the field for nearly two decades, beginning in Africa and currently continuing his work in Paris, France as HIV Counselor for "Afrique Avenir", and " Alliance Contre le Sida" non governmental organizations working towards the prevention of HIV infection and STI among Africans immigrants and Antillean in France since he relocated there 21years ago. Mr Ngueya has a broad range of skills that would serve the mission of many humanitarian and social service organization who is willing to work hard, is willing to be flexible. He has excellent inter-personal communication skills. This is evidence by his community-outreach in Paris, where he work extensively with night clubs and near metro stations frequented by migrant communities to promote safer sexual activities such as rapid screening tests with imediatly result for HIV, hepatitis « B » and « C ». In Cameroon, he was a research coordinator for study on the effectivness of Nonoxynol-9 research study project requiring superior communication skills to work with the investigators and the study participants. He also possesses strong capacity-building and training skills that he employed in developing nutition programs for Medecins d'Afrique/Europe and as a trainer for Afrique Avenir. Mr Ngueya received two University Diploma in Sexual Health & Human Rights at University Paris VII (2008- 2009) with the late President Marc Ganem of WAS (World Association of Sexology) and another one in Health Mediator at Paris XIII (2017- 2018 )
