CURRENT MISSION

Preparing for the amazing journey i am about to undertake with one of my good friend. It is the Pacific crest trail, a 2 650 miles long trail that is crossing California, Oregon and Washington from the mexican border to Canada.

I am passionate about the wilderness, traveling and .. coffee! I'm also into psychology ; studying the brain is fascinating me. I like meeting new people from all places on earth. I like playing chess while drinking handcraft beer in a pub somewhere on the globe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I believe in that idea that we, humans, should be able to exchange without money. I believe that we can all learn from each other's experiences. Couchsurfing is allowing that. It valorizes altruism over individualism, exchange over money, trust over fear.

Into the wild, the book and the movie, has changed my way of seeing things.

The Sacred Balance: Rediscovering Our Place in Nature by David Suzuki, opened up my eyes on how incredible nature and life are.

1984 by Orwell revealed to me the worst scenario a society with the will of supremacy could lead us to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Late may 2014 I was living the biggest adventure of my life, I hitchhiked all the way from Trois-Rivières (Qc) to Seward (Alaska), I met a lot of nice people and learned so much stuff. During that trip, I also did a hike to reach the "magic bus" where Alexander Supertramp (Christ. Mccandless) lived the last days of his life in 1992. Deep experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you how to resolve a Rubick's cube or I can offer you a good game of chess if you're an intermediate player! My crêpes are not bad too..
