One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh so many aventure around the world that I would be happy to share.

But for me the most amazing story happened to me back home in Montréal Québec.

I have been living in Chinatown in Montreal nearly all my adult life.
In 2021 the old house where I live was bought by developers.
They were planning to demolish the house an entire block of historic houses to build a huge 36 story tower.

I start to fight to get an heritage designation\protection for my house, the old buildings around and the entire neighbourhood

Nearly everyone thought it was a lost cause…

I did a petition that was signed by more 7000 people and after two years of fight …I win !

My house and the neighborhood gained heritage status and is now preserved by law.
I wasn’t evicted and still live there 🫶🏡

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a Montréal licensed local guide, I also bring and guide group to New York city summer time.

Winter time I teach guiding techniques to the future guides of Montréal at the tourist institut of Québec, I really enjoy sharing my passion for my job.

My school background is art history and museums studies.
I also did successfully the training to become international guide trainer in Cyprus in 2023.

I enjoy very much having good conversation about art, geography history.
Walking around trekking in forest, mountains and swimming a bit in sea or lake is a blessing for me.

I love very much antiques shops , flea market and vintage clothes, hunting for good finds could make my day.

Learn and exchange about different cultures and of course about traveling always so important for me!

I have traveled to many countries,
well when I don’t.. I miss it very much ha ha
