COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first discover Couch Surfing when I was moving to Glasgow. The host were so nice and trusty that they change my view of people and the world. I want to share this experience now with others.

Intereses

Of course I love to travel to discover new places, beautiful sceneries and new ways of locomotion :-) but what I prefer is to have an insight in people's every-day-life. I love to have a somewhat anthropological approach of my travels to discover different mind sets and approaches of life. I am also a sporty person, I love to go very high (climbing, hiking, etc.) and very deep (diving). I love big cities (New-York, London, Hong-Kong) as much as nature ( Loch Lomond, Alps' Natural Park,Borneo jungle, etc.)

My favourite travel memories were in Iceland, where I was bathing in a hot spring under the stars ; in Minnesota were I spent one week in a lake cabin ; and in Nice, where after 2 weeks of trekking in the Alps, our party entered this posh city and people were looking at us as if we were savages ( I didn't take a shower for 10 days). Pretty cool. Oh and the first time I saw a giant turtle while diving. It's just like in the film Nemo.
