About Me

저는 한국에서 단편영화를 찍을 거에요 (10월 15일부터 31일까지 서울에 있을거에요).

I'm friendly, "cool" and easygoing -- or at least I think I am :-)) (My wife says I'm not :-)) ) and I enjoy meeting new people from all over the world. The icing on the cake, I don't smoke.

Be true to yourself and not false to others.
자신에게 진실되고, 남에게 솔직하라.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've often made apartment-swapping with people living in UK, Ireland or in the USA. I've also had wonderful couchsurfing experiences in Milano (Italy), London (UK) and in the Cotswolds Villages, the land of Shakespeare and Henri VIII. I've also enjoyed a journey in Taïwan staying with caring people and learning how to cook delicious Taïwan dishes. Not to mention a wonderful stay in Berlin (Germany) when I ran the Marathon on September 28, 2008. I had wonderful couchsurfing experiences in South Korea in October 2009 March 2010, May 2011 and October 2012. I met the kindest people on Earth here and I will come back to Seoul in November 2013 (from 1st to 15th).

I enjoy running, playing chess and doing the cooking, among other things like cycling (mountain bike) or making my home baked bread and reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies : L'Année dernière à Marienbad (Alain Resnais).
La Dolce Vita (Frederico Fellini). Full Metal Jacket (Stanley Kubrick).
Bruce Springsteen, Passenger.
Books :
David Gates "Preston Falls"
Jay McInerney "the Good Life"
Patrick Modiano "Accident Nocturne"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving a car rental in New York City, Brooklyn, The Queens and The Bronx for 8 days and without a map of the City.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm able to teach how to speak / write English and French. I can also teach how to play chess and how to do the cooking i.e. delicious French or Italian Dishes. I'd like to find someone willing to teach me how to do delicious Korean dishes (Soups, Vegetables and Fish) and someone willing to teach me how to speak / write Korean.
