ABOUT ME

Bonjour,

I'm Jean-Louis, a young man from Québec, capital of the beautiful province of Québec, in Canada. I work as a web designer / developer in Québec and have been doing this for a couple of years now. It's quite fun.

Aside from work, I like to start projects, big and small, alone or with friends, in multiple fields such as photography, music, graphic design or writing.

I simply love meeting new people and learn from their experiences, philosophy and learn from what we can share.

PHILOSOPHY

At this specific time of my life I am powered by projects and ambitions. I feel this need to create, learn and understand myself and my entourage.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't host people right now, but I like meeting new people and spending time with travellers! I would love to show Québec around and have coffee / beer(s) with travellers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have tried to Couchsurf when I was travelling in Europe and Middle-East this past summer and I'm looking forward to travel again and Couchsurf "fo' real".

Oh, this could be long. A couple at least : music, books, graphic design, architecture, industrial design, photography, writing, reading, creating but most of all learning!

I also am passionate about the French language. I like scotch/whiskey.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I wish I read more, but when I read it's books that make me think. Books filled with ideas, strong or unique. I love to read French philosophers.

I watch a lot of TV Series even though I don't own a television and all sorts of movies, from the most obscure to Fast Five.
