Hey! I'm currently finishing my semester abroad studying French literature at the University of Warsaw, and I will spend all summer hiking/hitching/bussing through the Alps and the Balkans. I do hope we get to meet along the way!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One day a stranger on a four-wheeler in the middle of nowhere in Gaspésie invited me into their house, I said yes, and it was one of the best split-second decisions I've made. I ended up showered with tea, gossip, clean clothes, homemade spaghetti sauce, and most importantly, lots of warmth and kindness that I really needed at that time. BUT! to make it simpler (and perhaps safer!), I'm knocking on people's profile pages instead of real-life doors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2015, I hiked the Québec portion of the International Appalachian Trail (650 km) with my friend Camille, which basically crosses the entire Gaspé peninsula, and I am very pround to say that I made it, and that I can't wait for my next big hike!

I want to become a French literature/French teacher, so if you want some language lessons, I'm always happy to help.
I can also cook you delicious vegetarian meals, and share recipes for some of the best campfire dishes and homemade dehydrated meals I know to keep you full and happy on the trails :)
