I'm a 24-years-old-student in Marine biology. I'm an easygoing and openminded french girl juste back from the wonderful Norway.
I'm originally from the city of Nantes, on the west coast of France, but my roots are in Bretagne where most part of my family lives. Last year I was studying my last year of Bachelor's in Norway, as an Erasmus student. I spent the whole year in Tromsø, above the arctic circle. I enjoyed the experience so much that it has been quite tough to leave this magical place and the great people I met. Now, living in Paris, my mind is still full of wonderful images of the fjords, moutains, snow landscapes and northern lights.
I'm a very openminded, curious and easygoing person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy to discover a place from a local's view, without this I feel like I miss something about the destination. It's probably the more enriching way to travel!

Interests

I'm studying Marine Sciences and especially Marine Biology. I really enjoy studying this field and it takes a lot of my free time, even during holidays I attented a summer course last august. Studying in Norway has been an amazing opportunity to discover the arctic marine environnement. I'm really interesting in this field and I'm gonna try to focus my studies on this environnement in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is really important to me. I love plenty of stuff but especially electronic music, as house and techno music. I'm also super curious and I love to discover new artists My favorite artists at the moment are problably David August, Christian Loffler & Moderat.

When a was a kid I read a lot and, as many children, I grew up with Harry Potter. Now I'm still reading but particulary during holidays and weekend, different types of stories that makes me dream about future travels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Norway has been the place of the best experiences. I has the chance to go on board a research vessel in the pack ice, this was the most striking trip I've ever had. The best feeling was waking up in the middle of nowhere with ice as far as the eye can see.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy cooking, I could teach how to make "crêpes", a french style pancakes from Brittany (my home region in France !) & some french if you're interested
