Hi there!

I'm Jeanne, a 22 year-old from France who never fails getting enthusiastic about the little things :) I am always eager for discoveries, and I thus like wandering around, meeting new people and learning from them. I find "slow travelling" really enjoyable, especially since I first experienced staying at locals in Northern Europe when I went on an Interail trip with an Italian friend of mine back in 2019.

As for the main things you might want to know about me : I am a huge gymnastics fan, plant lover, vegan, curious about fighting sports (even though I haven't started practicing any yet, but I'll be glad to take your advice on this matter), highly interested about the food waste issue, always amazed by nature and therefore super enthusiastic about outdoor activities (hiking, foraging, yoga, reading in a park, you name it!)

That's pretty much all I can think of for now, but surely there is much more to tell! I'm looking forward to discovering more of what our cool world has to offer, hopefully I'll get to meet you along the way :))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered Couchsurfing few years ago thanks to an Italian friend of mine and I thought the idea behind this app was absolutely awesome! Meeting new people and sharing are key to a more openminded world and to a better understanding of its diversity. Can't wait to learn new things on my journey :)

I can tell you about my stories abroad but also about cool places you could visit if you’re planning to go to France someday! I can teach you French basic words (and even Chinese if you want). Also, I would be glad to show you a few gymnastics tricks ! No need to say that I would love to hear your own stories, learn a bit of your language and develop my knowledge about whatever your hobbies are.
