ABOUT ME

We are a young family consisting of myself, (Jeanne, 32), my husband, Jimmy (35) and our three kids, Beau(b. Oct 2006), Ruby (b. Aug 2008) and Eli (b. Dec 2010)
Jimmy is a qualified refrigeration engineer. He also volunteers as a leader with the local scouts and is involved in the Civil Defence. He likes to compete in triathlons. Before the kids i worked as a waitress/barperson in Lahinch and Cork. I was a full-time mother for 5 years. A few years back I got a full-time job working in a pharmacy but eventually left after a year and a half as my children needed me. I am now a part-time sales assistant in the Celtic T-Shirt Shop which I love and I also volunteer with the local Family Resource Centre and other local family support organisations. The kids are full-time rascals :) They love to socialize and love nothing better than hosting guests and providing the night's entertainment.
We are very open-minded and love to meet people from all over the world and experience other cultures. We love food and experimenting with new foods. For the most part, we try to live a healthy, eco-friendly lifestyle.
I don't spend too much time away from the kids, therefore, i am more of a dinner and wine person than a party person. Although we wouldn't object if you wanted to go out pubbing/clubbing. We love music and watching live music. We have yet to catch up to the kids and perfect an instrument ourselves...maybe 2018 is the year for that!?

PHILOSOPHY

Positive mental attitude and acceptance of others. The world needs a lot more love. I really like Louise hay's teachings also.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By hosting, and hopefully surfing soon when we go on our travels, and when we have the time - preparing dinner, showing guests around our beautiful part of the world

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While travelling in the US we stayed with a few hosts through hospitality club. We have also had some guests through hospitality club and global freeloaders. They were overall good and educating experiences. We have slowly increased our hosting of couch surfers. I think couchsurfing is definitely the most spirited of the groups. It has a real purpose instead of just a free place to stay, its about
meeting people and friendship...
