ABOUT ME

i'm a storyteller. i'm a lot more eloquent on paper (or on screen here) than in real life where i'm a little absent minded, and clumsy. i have a problem keeping my mouth on track with my mind. I'm always up for a laugh, even if it's on me. i also have a fairly dirty mind.

i believe in magic and childhood fantasies, and think it's time to get out of my comfort zone to enjoy such realities.

at first i would like to utilize the hospitality of others, but once i have a "real job" back home and a place to share space, i would love to let all the nomads and travelers stay with me.

oi! how big is this space? great gastby, Fahrenheit 451, jane eyre, alice in wonderland, wizard of oz, anything by Neil Gaiman, Jasper FForde, Mary Roach, or Gregory Maguire. etc, etc, etc plus i love my moments of reading Freud, Jane Austen, Shakespeare, essays on literary theory, the poet Dorothy Parker + more. My taste in music is eclectic (dresden dolls, black eyed peas, led zeppelin) and i'm willing to watch mostly any movie once.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i come from a town where everyone i graduated high school with are now either knocked up with their second child (or more), married and divorced, or strung out on drugs. Graduating with a Bachelors is pretty friggen spectacular for what i know.
