Get in shape, climb a lot, put up some new routes here in Juneau, save money and get ready for grad school madness!

ABOUT ME

I travel a lot, mostly due to the fact that I have a short attention span when it comes to geographic locations. My life has been a giant, unique, sometimes ridiculous contradiction so far - I'm a classically trained cellist who also happens to be a professional glacier guide, climber, skier and mountaineer. Hoping to get my rotary wing pilots license in the next few years and fly helicopters for a while. Seattle is BY FAR my favorite city in the US that I have lived in yet, and I'm hoping to spend a good chunk of the rest of my life here in the pacific northwest.

Have nothing in your life that is not beautiful or useful.
Always know where you're going in your life and have a plan to get there.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm hoping to participate by giving some other folks from around the world the chance to experience the amazing city that is Seattle. A lot of people have opened their doors to me in my travels, and it's time to return the favor while I can!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've spent entire summers doing nothing but housesitting in AK. I steadfastly and stubbornly refuse to pay rent if there is any way to pull it off without actually being homeless.

Last summer, the company I work for in Juneau, AK paid me to fly around and take pictures from a helicopter with the door off. Two of the pictures from that photo session ended up in two separate corporate calendars that are distributed to almost all major helicopter owners and operators around the world, one of them is on the cover.
