I live with my lovely boyfriend and fellow traveler Jonah in Austin, Texas, a strange liberal paradise nestled in a very conservative state.

My bent is goofball by day, snarky by night, passionate conversation enthusiast, while Jonah's a sweet-as-can-be pedant and amateur chef extraordinaire. We're both easy-going, respectful, and deeply fascinated by all there is to learn about ouuuuut there.

I've traveled and hosted a fair bit but want to do more of both. The cultural exchange and the enormous economy of sharing homes throughout the world is such a fantastic resource.

Everyone I've stayed with and all the travelers that have come my way have been interesting, thoughtful, memorable people. Meeting new friends and having a place to rest while exploring... it's not impossible to beat, but kinda. :)

The internet, hands down, wins for most amazing thing I've done/am doing all the time. It's the INTERNET! Near-magic.

It's no internet, but I've seen Mt. Kilimanjaro too. :) Didn't climb it, but stayed in the town, Moshi, that's at its base. Stunning.
