I believe that the best way to explore new cities is to get to know people living in them. I don't like organized tours and prefer to be a flaneur, walk around and enjoy the new sights and sounds.

I'm a nerd so I love SF, horror and fantasy stuff. I also read a lot of American literature, both classic and contemporary.

I'm also exploring queer lit & film, as well as LGBTQ history.

My musical tastes are quite eclectic, though I mostly listen to rock, electronic and folk/acoustic rock. I love female singer-songwriters.
