Overview
About Me
I'm an American Fisheries Biologist. I manage a remote research station in Alaska during the summers, where we study the dynamics of wild salmon in freshwater ecosystems. I'm loosely based in Seattle during the fall/winter/spring, but manage to spend much of the traveling and having fun outside. I love to hike, climb, ski, and fly fish, and use these passions to get off the beaten path and experience new places and meet new people, both at home and abroad. I'm an environmentalist and can talk for hours about climate change, energy policy, land use, and the future of our freshwater resources!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new on here but I generally dislike huge backpacker party hostels and love getting the local flavor and advice....Couchsurfing seems like a great way to do that!
