I'm a 29 yr old that got bit by the travel bug. I'm a resident physician in the DC area and when I'm not working then I'm trying to find something new and adventurous to do. I don't have a great deal of time to go all over the world but if I have an extended break then you can find me doing just that. I've mostly stayed stateside but have had the luxury of going to Europe and Asia. I also love riding motorcycles, hiking, camping, fostering dogs, playing pick-up sports, and finding hole-in-the-wall food gems.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I solo travel at times and I would like to meet other people. I also think it's a great opportunity to meet the locals and to get a better glimpse of the culture instead of the typical tourist attractions.

Music:
I listen to techno, indie, pop, r&b, and top hits. I'll binge whatever Spotify playlist I have saved and whatever mood I'm in.

Movies:
Hard to say! I like original content the most and especially if it's in the realm of thriller, mystery, Sci-Fi. But who watches movies anymore when you have Netflix.

Books:
I just wait for the movie ha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydived. Most terrifying and most gratifying experience I've ever done.
You can say I've assisted on a bunch of surgeries as a student but it's not as exciting as you would think.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to cook and answer questions about medicine. I would like to learn about local cultural norms and everyday life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am quite cultured and willing to try anything once. With that said, I love food and have tried so many weird and exotic things. I love talking to people and understanding where they come from and their roots. It's odd to say but when I meet someone knew I try to put myself in their shoes and see what my life would've been like if I was raised similarly.
