I am an engineer living in Alaska. I have an old Boxster parked in the bay area that I enjoy taking on road trips or using for track days at Laguna Seca, where I win every time...for the least expensive car on the circuit.

I used to have a buddy in Monterey that kept our car and accompanied me on road trips. But she moved. It's a bit expensive to stay in Monterey. Plus, I miss having someone to pal around with down there.

Zappa and road trips go well together. I quite enjoy a good central coast pinot noir with dinner and well after driving.

Zappa. I haven't read a book in forever. (But I read good stuff when I did. I enjoy reading different forwards to Finnegans Wake.) I like Coen Brothers movies. Car movies, too. Cannonball Run. Smokey and the Bandit. Le Mans. Grand Prix. Stuff like that.

I'm not sure how payment works with this Couchsurfing deal. I can pay money, though. Or dinner. I like Sardine Factory in Monterey. Or Passionfish. Oh! I can also offer rides down the coast in a convertible Porsche. (Boxster. And it's yellow. And I'm happily married. If that's all okay with you, then it's okay with me.)

Edit: I now have a Boxster S and its blue. But still happily married :)
