Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Obliterate the opinions of dogmatic and lazy thinkers.
ABOUT ME
I often like to live a life of monk-like simplicity & patience but at the same time am constantly on the hunt for stimulation. Those two things don't really mesh but I guess for me the only thing worse than boring people are people who are easily bored.
I like learning new things. Last year was brewing beer and playing guitar. Now I need to start learning a bit of French and German so if you speak either that would be great!!
PHILOSOPHY
I don't have one but I do more or less live for art and new experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hope to start hosting this summer and possibly stay on some fellow couches when I finally get the time to travel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't enjoyed anyone's couches yet.
Interests
My life revolves around books, movies, music, good friends, and good drinks. Everything else comes a distant second. I also like to travel, cook, bike, hike, and wander through cities for hours.

Music, Movies, and Books
I literally watch about 100 movies a year and gave up picking favorites a long time ago.
I like books by Lethem, Delillo, Bolano, Amis, Murakami, TC Boyle, Pynchon, Chabon, Zadie Smith, Jennifer Egan, Borges, Nabokov, Saramago, DFW ect. I like showy writers.
Music...a lot of electronic & instrumental hip hop, older indie rock, scary droney stuff, krautrock, old funk/soul, 70 psych/prog rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cape horn and the glaciers off of Tierra Del Fuego
Teach, Learn, Share
I think it's equally fun to find people who are either extremely similar to me or the polar opposite. Sometimes those in the middle of the road can be dull.
I tend to get along with people who are a bit crazy.
