I love people, climbing steep mountains, surfing, discussing water and health issues, glaciers, wading in streams, teaching, dancing salsa, dancing rueda de casino, long chats with anyone random, road tripping, basketball, and cross country running.

PHILOSOPHY

I am right now taking on a go with the flow attitude. Traveling indefinitely, I am open to changing my plans, surrounding myself with wonderful people, and sharing life.

Just the other day, I was out on my surfboard beyond the wake on the rugged coast of Oregon. I suffered through frigid conditions so that I could watch the sunset on the water. I turned toward the shore and was stunned by the full moon rising above the mountains. I stayed out another hour by myself paddling around the moonlit waves.

I once got converted (by accident) to Evangelical Christian in rural Venezuela, due to errors in translation. I couldn't disappoint the cheering crowd in the church!
