I am from a small town in central Texas. I received my BA in History of warfare from Texas A and M. I studied abroad in Krakow, Poland at the Jagellonian Univserity studying the Holocaust. I lived and taught English in Mexico City for three years. I then moved to Vietnam for two years living in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). I lived in The Netherlands for one year where I completed my MA in Holocaust and Genocide Studies from the University of Amsterdam. I will begin my Ph.D in the summer of 2019.

I love being outside. I spend a lot of time in the parks and the forests. I like going on long hikes or biking trips. I enjoy a good coffee and conversation. I love cooking and hosting dinner parties. I'm always up for an adventure. I'm here for a good time, not a long time.
