About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Accept the way things are and to be well and happy

ABOUT ME
I'm very laid back and easy going. I have a strong community of wonderful friends/family that I owe everything to.
I'm highly reliable and very consistent. I am very good at self care.
My neice and nephew - we are big parts of each others lives.
I play way too much online chess.
I find satisfaction in doing hands on work/building things/problem solving.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that I, and others are all learners and every moment offers an opportunity for learning. I believe in natural approaches to healing, less is more, and connection to (self, nature, meaning, others, etc..) will support that healing. I believe that awareness is the key to uncovering the blockages to healing/connection, and the journey to that awareness can be messy work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted about a dozen people and I surfed for my first time last year!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love it and it feels like a wonderful way to sidestep the transactional culture we are so often needing to participate in.

Interests

I have a dedicated qi gong practice and it is a big part of how I understand myself and life in general. One of my favorite things to do is to cook/listen to music - either by myself or hanging out with others. I have a long time interested in movement; dance, yoga, rolling around on the floor - whatever :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Biked naked through the streets of Toronto for a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon - 5 times!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always looking to meet people who can open my mind up to new perspectives. I'm always learning to become a better listener.

I would love to make you dinner!
