Hey everyone,

I'm Jeff C, based out of Los Angeles here in California. Originally from New York City, I ended up studying aeronautical engineering in Boston at MIT for 4 years. Then I made the big leap and moved to California to enjoy the weather, outdoor adventures and meet new people.

I now do technology consulting and actually travel for work pretty frequently within the US. Most recently I was working out of Detroit and was travelling every week (which was a little exhausting).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking to spend two months in Europe and rather than book hotels/airbnbs, I thought it would be a great change of pace to meet new people and stay on their couches. Some of my fondest memories were hanging out with my friends at their place and talking in their living rooms before I crashed on the couch.

Hopefully I can meet some great people that are willing to hang out and show me around.

Music, Movies, and Books

Grew up listening to hip-hop, r&b, and rap. But I listen to a lot of EDM music now and occasional indie. But to be honest I'll go to a concert for any type of music and throw myself in the crowd.

Movies - Any classic renowned movie is good with me. Prefer anything that makes me think and question any beliefs or existing standpoints I have.

Books - Sci-fi thrillers and comedies are always a good time. If a book combines these two then I'm sold.
