About Me
Hi! I'm Jeffrey (or Jeff): I grew up in Coventry, R.I., USA, but moved to South Carolina and lived there for five years until I was 21. I went to community college to be a chef for a year and a half but didn't finish that degree. I was in a really bad place in life, so I joined for the United States Marine Corps and got out as an E-4, Corporal. The Marines made into a better person after I have had time to come to terms with everything I experienced and looked back on all the wonderful experiences I had: such as living in Okinawa, Japan for two years, visiting the Philippines 22 days, and Thailand three separate times for a total of 54 days.
After the Marines I moved to a brand new state, Denver, CO, where I didn't know a single person and started school back up at Johnson & Wales University. I am less than two months away from graduating with my B.S. in Culinary Nutrition and I CAN'T WAIT!!!!! I plan on going back for my Master's degree and also obtaining my Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Certification after a couple years of working in the world and relaxing a little. I've been going strong for such a long time now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
SO! Now you know a ton about me.
I'm a really kind soul (to much), and I believe in helping people above others as much as possible AS LONG as it is not detrimental to oneself. I'm not religious, but I enjoy having intelligent and informed debates about it. As well as many other topics. I consider myself an intellectual, but I am also fervrentally aware of my all my shortcomings/faults. I take pleasure in working on my mentality to be a better person each day.
Currently I am not accepting guests because I live at college, but hopefully that situation will be changing soon and I will be able to host.
I LOVE to travel. I am on here to meet new people and explore the world in a real-life, social way.
I can't wait to meet all you wonderful, like-minded people!
