I'm a scientist and I like unusual people. The strange ones are always the fun ones!

I know where most of the good beer is in the city and all the most unique places to hang out. I'm always happy to show a new friend around the city. My job allows me to work on a flexible schedule and pretty much anywhere with an internet connection. This affords me the ability to travel and host other travelers. I'm new to the site but I hope to become active on it, I like the idea.

I am primarily a software engineer in the Big Data / Machine Learning / Business Intelligence field. But have many science hobbies that i take very seriously and invest in. For example I have a chemistry lab, an electronics lab, several radio transmitter setups. astronomy and astro-photography equipment and much much more. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am brand new to couch surfing, but want to start hosting people. I also want to start traveling and this seemed like a fun new way to make friends as I do, since I will likely be traveling alone.

I love to meet new friends and treat them like family. Always happy to pick up a couch-surfer from the airport or train station if I have some extra time.

On a more personal note, I enjoy good beer and unique people. I'm a sucker for good conversation anywhere I can find it.

Of course I'm happy to show guests around town when I have time as well.

Traveling is a new interest of mine I havent gotten to do much of until now. In a month or so if all goes well i intend to spend 3 months traveling around the world.
