I am a Science teacher and tennis coach at Clyde High School. My family has been involved in hosting and supporting exchange students through YFU since 2008.

My wife and I enjoy meeting and talking with people from many different cultures. We greatly enjoy traveling the world and getting to know local people through our travels.

I have been involved in playing and coaching tennis for over 40 years. I have personally visited 2 of the 4 Grand Slam events and hope to see the remaining 2 events in the next 10 years. I have been a science teacher for 28 years, teaching Anatomy, Biology and Physics. My family has hosted 6 exchange students from Germany (3), Japan (2), and Thailand (1).

I enjoy all types of music. I prefer movies that are comedies, but I enjoy reading books that are suspenseful, especially John Grisham.

I have run 13 marathons, including the Boston Marathon 3 times.

Clyde is about a 30 minute drive to Cedar Point (depending on traffic).
