About Me

Hello,

I have been traveling around Southeast Asia for two months now. I spent two months in Cambodia volunteering at a local school and I had the time of my life. I really enjoyed working with the kids and getting to know the culture. I am very energetic and like to meet new people. I can be shy at times but give me a bit and I'll show you my corky side.

"Expectations create frustrations"

" life is a book and those who don't travel only read the first page"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I'm on the end of my trip and I am starting to get low on money. I would love to meet new people in Bangkok and to see the city like a local does instead of a tourist.

Interests

I love to read and go out and meet new people. I don't need a drink in order to have fun but it certainly does help.

I love to travel. It is my new passion and I plan on making it my life in the next few years.

I like to talk. If I am comfortable with someone I can talk for days.

I like to be with my parents when I'm home. I love being with my dad and just talking about the stupid shit we talk about.

I love tattoos. I have 8 tattoos I believe and my most recent one was while I was in Cambodia.

I like to sit on the beach and relax. I don't have a beach at home but here in Koh Chang it has been quite an interest of mine.

I like to meet new people and explore.

I like to get lost and find my way out Of a situation.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is to hard to answer but as far as music goes I basically listen to everything besides heavy metal. I can't pin point a favorite artist but Dave Matthews is up there, RHCP and The XX are some I can list off the top of my head. Trying to think of a favorite movie is next to impossible, but I love comedies especially with Adam sandler, (old Adam Sandler) not new. As far as books, I loved the curious incident in the dog in the night time and also extremely loud and incredibly close.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing that I've done was what I just got done doing in Cambodia. These past two months will stay with me forever. I volunteered at a community centre for under privileged children. It is a free school that allows all the kids in the village to attend English classes for one hour a day as well as sport, dance, and art. I had the privilege to teach these young promising students and it has truly changed who I am and I am forever grateful for this amazing experience. I learned more from the students than I would ever be able to give them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you practice your English if it isn't your first language and also some Cambodian cooking that I picked up in my travels. I would love to learn how to live a more simple lifestyle and how to implement that lifestyle into my own life. I would love to share my traveling stories as well as hear of everyone else's traveling stories, the good And bad

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer a great sense of humor and help with any type of cooking. I love to learn new things and I can offer anything that might need assistance around the house or apartment. I can clean the apartment, I'll certainly clean up after my self.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, England, Ireland, Israel, Netherlands, Norway, Thailand
