About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live life to its fullest, meet new people, and learn about the places they've lived and/or travelled.

ABOUT ME

I try to stay as busy as possible and I basically live weekend to weekend. I work diligently during the week, only so that I can afford to do the things I like to do when I'm not working. Summer and Winter are my favorite seasons, and while I do enjoy the mild temperatures, and beautiful views of the spring and fall, I mostly could do without them. Favorite activities: Snowboarding, biking, soccer, softball, going to the beach, swimming, horseshoes, golf, bowling, hiking, frisbee, trying new beers, rooting for the NY Yankees, and the University of Connecticut Huskies men's basketball and football teams. I love Italian Food and Ice Cream.

PHILOSOPHY

Mostly I want to live my life in a way that makes life better for those that come after me. I try to minimize my environmental impact. And I try to find happiness in everything I do. "If it's not fun, why do it?"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I am just hosting with the intent of being a guest at some point in the future, when I want/need it. Paying it forward before it is given to me - if that makes sense. I guess you might call that a loan?!?!
Edit: I've finally been hosted a night, I've got to start using it more often.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted many times and surfed fewer times. All great experiences.

Books: Well here I'm at a loss. I haven't read much outside of school, but I'm starting to make an effort. Recently I've read Ishmael, and Into the Wild, both of which I enjoyed a lot. From High School the books I liked the most were: 1984, The Catcher in the Rye, and One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest. I'm actually quite embarrassed that I don't read more, but I am working on it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went skydiving on a whim. Decided with a few friends to do it only hours before we were jumping out of a plane.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not really sure if I'm really qualified to teach much, but I enjoy fixing things! I've fixed quite a few computer problems for friends, and I'm a decent bike and car mechanic considering I've had absolutely no training.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
