ABOUT ME

I’m from Hong Kong but have lived in the UK for the past few years whilst studying at uni. I love to explore as much as I can so I travel lots and join people in different activities and sports. At uni I’m with the volleyball and swimming teams. I love just how international students from all over join together to exchange stories, culture, food and just hang out at a BBQ in the uni gardens (international food exchange!) And it’s just great when you meet others who want to travel with you – I’ve travelled with big groups of swimming mates to Malta and we spent 7 days there and we enjoyed hanging out together all the time.

My favourite latest trip was Moscow because I stayed at my Russian friend's home and I occupied his couch for more than 10 days and he and his family treated me so well. As he is the local of Russia, he brought me to different signature places and also some non-signature local places. Local people always know where to go, where to buy and where to eat, and I cannot agree more!

My friends would describe me as a funny and caring person with a positive attitude. To me, friendship is most important, so I would do anything for my friends (and they for me). I’m a talkative person, so it’s easy for me to start chatting to anyone. I’m also very respectful of people’s space and a very responsible guy, so when I surf at others’ homes I like to leave it even tidier than I found it.

I’m into photography, fashion and design. I have my own venture making handmade leather bags. I also love shopping, but my favourite things to do when I’m visiting a new place is go and see the cultural places and cool spots first.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel lots so I’m into meeting new people and discovering new cultures/foods/places. I want to surf at places where the host is a local or knows the area and is willing to hang out together and maybe show me around or give me a tip or two.

I can’t host anyone at the moment as I live in a tiny dorm at university, but I’m really looking forward to opening my doors when I’m back in Hong Kong.

I’m also keen to meet travellers who want to get together and travel around or maybe just meet in town for a coffee / activity.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had an experience staying at my friend place in London, United Kingdom and Moscow, Russia. And I do enjoy the stay and would to take more opportunity to do so.

Interests

I really like sunshine and beaches. I don't mind spending my whole day on the beach with some relaxing music. CHILL! Also, I like doing sports too, swimming, tennis and volleyball =)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Iceland in Oct 2011 with a friend, we spent 8 days to travel around the island and every places I have been to has a picture in my mind. I can't find a word to describe those places, just more than 'spectacular' or 'wonderful'. I'm speechless to the atmosphere and the view. I would definitely go back again in my live =)
