Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a singer and I kind of travel a lot. It is always nicer to arrive in a city where you don't know anybody, and still have the possibility to find some couch surfer freinds to hang out with :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was singing in the street with a friend (for fun, and having money was a plus ;p) in Antibes (south of France) when an old women stops on her old bycicle, and tells us to stop singing and follow her. We obey. As we are following her she explains that her husband's funeral is in an hour and she hasn't found an organist for the ceremony yet and asks us to sing. Of course we said yes, planned the ceremony with the father in a half hour.
It was one of the strongest et most beautiful experience I've ever lived!!!
The old women was called "Vanillette" and she still calls us every year to see how we're doing!!
