About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be able to say when i'm 80: "the world hasn't changed, but I did my best"

ABOUT ME

Anything is valuable if it has irony in it (Queen, bad jokes, pessimist philosophies). Basic facts: I am French, love history, literature, cinema (a looooot) and love (how cute). I have been living in Italy for 2 years (first one as an Erasmus exchange student, and second one, to finish my thesis and continue the experience). I unfortunately lived a lot in Paris, too. And if you wanna know the rest, let me sleep on your couch or come sleep on mine!

PHILOSOPHY

Atheist but very interested in religions (I actually studied it), I try to be a-moral i.e. never agree with something which can be demonstrate only by "that's the way it is" or "it's just off the limits !". Do things the right way, good things happens. If anything gets on my nerves... well, it never happens !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

- First Step : Geneva, march 09. Nice city, very international, ideal for a relaxing week end.
- Second Step : London, August 09. Couchsurfed in East End with a friend and two german couchsurfers. Loved the parks and that stinky Thames.
- Antakya : Summer 2010. As part of a 5 weeks trip from Istanbul to Beirut through central Turkey and Syria.

Interests

Endless debates about politics, music, movies, people or anything that can stimulate a brain or senses, particularly if accompanied by some drinks.

As I said, cinema: Godard most of all, and then the classics: Hitchcock, Altman, Kubrick...

People, I love to get into knowing new people, it is not so original, but it is a real thrill.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Erasmus exchange program.

I travelled for five weeks from Istanbul to Beirut, through Göreme, Antakya, Aleppo, Hama, Palmyra, then back to Turkey in order to visit Iraqi Kurdistan, then back to Hama, Damascus, Beirut. Quite a mindblowing experience...

Teach, Learn, Share

I know music (clarinet and guitar). I can cook pasta as it should be.
Conversations are a good way to learn and I think to be able to learn and teach this way.
