I love hiking, hot springs, backpacking, biking, cross-country skiing, knitting, reading, cooking, dancing and going to see people play music. My biggest goals are self-sufficiency through farming, fishing, and hunting; and helping others make better choices for the land, oceans and atmosphere.

I will read pretty much anything. Into non-fiction right now. My favorites are always changing. I am less into movies than I used to be because I don't have a television.

So many things... I don't even know. I marvel at so many things. One fun thing was making moonshine with a Thai grandmother in a village in the hills of northern Thailand. Hiking on the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal.
