About Me
People frequently describe me as an easygoing person, open to new experiences. I completely agree with them, but I would add that I was not always like that. Life has taught me how to transform from an introvert to someone who is open to talking with anyone and about anything.
I've recently discovered a side of myself that wants to travel alone, use CouchSurfing, and have unexpected experiences.
Understanding that we all have free will goes a long way toward finding a way to escape the monotony of everyday life.
I don't consider myself a hippie, but I have a great connection with nature, and yeah, I'm that one person that hugs trees every time when in the forest. I grew up with my grandparents in a village surrounded by nature and animals, and those stayed my love for life.
Besides nature, I am a huge fan of music, movies, literature, and arts in general and after a couple of glasses of wine, I'll definitely sing and dance. Those are the places and situations when I am the happiest person in the world.
A little nerd alert! I love diving into languages, especially Romance languages, Arabic, and Turkish, exploring how they influenced each other and even shaped Serbian. My dictionaries are my treasures, and I see all languages as one big, interconnected web to discover.
I am trying to find myself in this crazy world, to explore and express myself and traveling is one of the finest ways to accomplish so.
Kind of a clumsy person, but even though I don't know how ride a bike or am frightened of deep water, I'm still trying to find things in which I can feel comfortable and free.
Won't be accepting any copy-past requests.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I made a profile on CS a couple of years ago but never had a chance to use it.
I recently decided that it's past time for me to stop waiting for friends to make time for travel and start doing it on my own. Traveling alone is beautiful in my opinion, and one of the reasons is that you meet wonderful people along the way. That is one of the motives why this profile has been revived.:)

Music, Movies, and Books
Talking about music, movies and books, all are great topics for me, but also vast and inspirative, so instead of writing all my favorite artists, I'll just leave links to the songs that made me decide to start traveling and enjoying this life.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some salsa and historical fencing moves. One never knows when a dance-off or a sword duel might arise!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Because Serbian cuisine is a bit difficult to prepare and is mostly reserved for experienced mothers and grandmothers, I had to turn to my next great love - Italian cuisine (one of the reasons I started studying Italian language). People swear I make the best Carbonara ever (without cream, of course! ), and I am eager to prove my culinary skills in front of my hosts.
