I love to meet new people from all over the world to share my own experience as well as getting to know different cultures. And to eat all sorts of food obviously.

I am happy to work as a teacher at a local secondary school here in Germany but I always think about my next trip going abroad.
Since I worked in San Diego in 2017 (also as a teacher), I am going back there this summer for a couple of weeks visiting LA first. I just love Southern California with its nature, people, food and culture.

San Diego was the place where I started to play the guitar and where I plan to buy my first ukulele this summer (any suggestions for a good place?).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Had some amazing experiences already (not always via this website though) and want to do couchsurfing as often as possible this summer.
Staying at a hostel most definitely is a nice option, too - but I am more into the idea of meeting locals, getting to know the real deal and not only things I found on tripadvisor.
I would bring some German beer or some German chocolate!

Interests

My interests.. are not easy to define! Generally I would say: traveling, getting to know new people and cultures, hammocks and good vegetarian food!
Maybe sometimes the German winter forces me to rather lie in my bed with four blankets watching TV than relaxing in a hammock, but other than that, I would still lie there with wanderlust! Oh and by the way, I don't know why it says that my interests are perfumes - I just can't figure out how to change, apparently I am not good with computers. I have one perfume only, and that's it basically ... ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing might not be the adequate term but I got myself a tattoo in Vietnam - and I would do it again.
