I love good things. Good people, literature, music, coffee, beer, wine, whiskey, food... I play the sax, play hockey, bike...

PHILOSOPHY

I love family, close friends, and high standards. I'm honest with myself to an extreme, self-aware but not too serious, and try to enjoy the time I have with the people around me and when I'm on my own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed a lot in the summer of 2007 in the Baltics, Ukraine, Republic of Georgia, and Russia. Met some truly incredible people, and am very thankful to them all. Before that, I was fortunate enough to stay with Rivo and his sister in Paris (he's now in Switzerland -- good luck Rivo!).

Most recently, I hosted several people in Madison, WI couchcrash 2013, and am hoping to host more in Madison this year. Get in touch!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music (esp. jazz (Dave Holland, Steve Swallow, Chris Potter, Ornette Coleman, Albert Ayler, Coltrane, Art Blakey...), 80s electronica, synthpop, hip hop (Zion I, Aceyalone, Living Legends...), prog rock and electronica (King Crimson, Tool, NIN...)... the list goes on.

Also love good literature, especially Dostoevsky, Krishnamurti, Bulgakov, Chekhov, Steinbeck... many others.
