CURRENT MISSION

Im currently in Colombia, only 3 weeks left. Have traveled through Central America. Going to a wedding in Sicily in July and will hopefully travel some of Italy afterwards.

ABOUT ME

Well im the oldest of 4 children and we all live together in Swords Dublin with my parents and my dog! I am still studyting Social Work in College but took some time off to Travel. I started in Guatemala and studied Spanish for a month and then volunteered in Antigua for 2 months with children and teenagers with dissabilities. After this i traveled through Central America very quickly hoping to reach Colombia. Something inside my head was telling me to go there. I have so far had an AMAZING experience, especially in Colombia. Im the type of person who loves to meet new people, loves talking to strangers, loves learning about new countries not just the food, drinks, music, dancing but also the people the live there as i feel they are what represents a country.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love Ireland and am very proud of our reputation as a friendly nation of people. I live very close to Dublin airport and would be willing to meet people and bring them to where i live even just to have a drink, help them relax, give them advice about ireland- transport systems, what to see in Dublin etc.

I could possibly house people overnight but as i still live with my parents this is not guarenteed.
I go to college in the City Centre and am in there quite a lt so i could also meet people for lunch, drinks in the evenings etc.

Will be back in Ireland in August.

Some people spend their whole lives studying, working striving to be the best. They clmb and climb and are constantly reaching for a goal, fame, money, prestige etc.

When they have it all they realise they never took the time to live and have a life. They never learnt how to relax and enjoy being happy with their own company and the beautiful world full of nature around us. Or the company of others who have nothing to give but their time, wisdom and friendship.

If we cannot be happy with nothing, nothing will make us happy!
