my boyfriend is an experienced couchsurfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

we hosted a number of surfers at our house, each of them were pleasant experiences. it's like inviting different worlds into your house- travelling without actually travelling.
I never surfed any couches so far, I could never arrange it. but I think that would be a better approach than staying at hotels when travelling, since it would help me better understand the meaning of the places. the hotels basically mean the same everywhere...
