Hi I'm Jen I'm from Edinburgh in Scotland but have lived a few other places through my job in education. I used to be a Primary School teacher, I worked for a big charity and now I am doing some freelance education work. I like to walk my dog, spend time with friends and family, take photographs and eat good food. I love taking time out of work to travel whenever I can and like adventures whenever possible. I spent time living in hostels while traveling this year and so love the idea of coach surfing - this will be my first experience!

I'm looking for somewhere to stay while I'm here in San Francisco looking to build a new life. I came here earlier in the year as part of a bigger trip and fell in love with the place. Now I'm here again trying to find a job and eventually somewhere to live. I'll just need a few days here and there as I mix living in the city with travelling around the area at the weekends.

Shantaram is my favourite book of all time, I'm re-reading it at the moment. in terms of music - I love Ben Howard, Mumford and Sons. James Bay, Lianne Le Havis and Bears Den but open to most types of music.
