Hey, I'm Jen. I grew up in Seoul, Korea and I am currently doing Masters on Environmental Studies in Freiburg, Germany. I really enjoy travelling around the world, meeting new people and getting to know the culture and food. I like to enjoy and experience nature, such as hiking on mountains and scuba diving ( i just got my diving license, which is my first license ever!!). I am an outgoing person, love to talk to new people and make friends.

I am on couchsurfing because I think the best way of travelling is to hang around with local people and learn the culture from the local. If I just travel as a tourist, I would only see what I plan or want to see and go into restaurants that are rated good on Tripadvisor, which sometimes are not that great. I want to see the real images of city and learn the real culture with the real local:)

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Scuba diving!! I was difficult to overcome the fear of water, especially in the open water. However, once I calmed myself and believed that I can control myself and that there won't be any problems as long as I stay calm, I began to experience the new underwater world. I really enjoyed seeing beautiful corals, different colors of fish and crabs.

I like to cook, so I can share some of the dishes that I am good at.
I would love to share my sense of humor and lots and lots of smiles!
