As a good Aussie, I like the beach, sports and vegemite. As a not so good Aussie, I don't eat meat, don't drink beer, and I can't surf. But I'm hoping it kind of balances out :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to get the local's version of a city - see things/places you might miss as a tourist (and similarly show hidden gems of the cities I know!)
When I'm at home, it keeps me connected with the world outside of my day to day. And love how couchsurfing is a community that gives me something in common with people I've never even met.

My music preference varies with my mood! Love getting behind local Aussie bands (check out Middle Kids, Hatchie, Telenova if you're interested 🙂).
Love a good live gig (there are plenty in Melbourne!) but also just listening at home.
I wouldn't think about travelling without a good book. There's an ever growing list of books to read next, but I'm always keen for personal recommendations.
