Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I went to a couple events while I was living in Tokyo. Hoping to meet some interesting people and eventually get into hosting when I have a bigger place.

Interests

I'm an engineering grad but I'm interested in a wide range of topics and enjoy learning for its own sake. Work takes up most of my time but when I'm not busy, my hobbies include rock climbing, camping, reading, music, cooking, and crafts (mainly knitting).

Music: Things like the Fleet Foxes, Regina Spektor, and Of Monsters and Men. I also studied classical piano for 10+ years but I haven't practised in ages.

Books: Mostly sci-fi, fantasy and historical fiction. American Gods, Neverwhere, Snow Crash, The Lions of Al-Rassan ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While on exchange in Japan, I had a month of vacation in which I backpacked from Sapporo to Okinawa.
