ABOUT ME

This is a page for both Jessica and Jenna- best friends from Texas who want to explore the world and all it has to offer. We're just two goofy and creative girls with big hearts looking to explore life to its fullest and we're determined to take this opportunity while we have it. We seek personal and spiritual growth. We love meeting new people and are very easy to get along with. We both love yoga, sports, reading, wine, and dancing. We can party until the sun comes up, but you better be ready to go get breakfast and coffee a few hours later. It's safe to say that we're both daring to try new things at least once. :-)

Our goal is to travel the world all in one long trip while we can! We want to learn anything and everything about every culture. I believe that we can "find ourselves" in many places and in many different ways. Life is meant to be lived with a mish-mash of different cultures to form one unique soul, or "etat d'ame". One of my favorite books, "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho, even words this same thought:

"Where are you from?" the boy asked.
"From many places." replied the old man.

Jessica is a sociology major soon to be seeking her masters from the University of Hawaii after our trip. She currently lives in Dallas, Texas and spends her free time doing muddy marathons, offering her heart to volunteer work, and organizing the greatest girls nights out.

Jenna is an interior design/art major currently working for a contemporary fine art gallery in Houston, Texas. She is the master of corny jokes and enjoys creative projects, tequila, and sneaking away to the local laundry mat for quiet time.

PHILOSOPHY

Jessica: "How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of those."
