Everything I do is pretty much about travelling or saving money to travel again. I'm off on a huge round the world trip starting in the Philippines in Dec 2015 and moving on through Japan, Korea, over to Canada down through the USA, onto the Caribean and central America and then I will think about the next leg from there.

I'm very responsible but love to have fun, love almost all types of food, have two dogs (both elderly now), am married (although my husband doesn't like to travel open ended like I do), no kids, and have a very keen interest in all things to do with web and internet. I was a hairdresser when I was young, and have a very wide and varied skill set work wise.

I am obsessed with tattoos and am amassing quite the collection.

I love vegemite sandwiches on fresh bread, the sound of the ocean, that free feeling that you can only get from swimming, people who adopt rescue pets, live music, up not down and anything new.

Apart from making my dollar go further I'm a firm believer that people ARE a place. Scenery and attractions are always amazing to see but its the people that make memories for you and I'd like to spend time with like minded travelers who can offer some real insight into the local area and impart some local customs to me.

My music is wide and varied. I love everything from The Waifs (An Australian touring band) to Disturbed, to Jamiroqui to Pitbull. Like I said wide and varied.

Movies - I love action and light hearted movies. I love alternate movies as long as they aren't war based.

TV - I'm loving Vikings and just started Game of Thrones. House of Cards and The Bridge are another two faves as well.

Books - I read to escape and relax so I like crime and biographies mostly.

I patted a whale in the wild. A wild whale that found us in our boat off the Western Australian coast and came closer and closer checking us out until we reached out right next to the boat and patted his nose. OMG - Amazing.
We were in Argentina in 2001 during the revolution. Amazing time to be there.
I've trekked Annapurna in Nepal, Walked a good chunk of the great wall, swam with the whale sharks in Coral Bay, body surfed in Tulum, been married for 25 years and fallen down a mountain in China.

I'm a pretty good cook!
While my skills aren't super technical I can take a great photo and aparantly have a great eye!
I can also be persuaded for a small fee to cut and/or colour hair. I won a lot of awards when I was hairdressing and do a great hair cut.
