Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I've joined couchsurfing, I've only used it domestically since my travels abroad have had accomodations already. I've hosted one person in Chicago and it was a great experience. I've also met with someone through the app for drinks and food while waiting for friends to arrive in a new city for a wedding. Also a great experience!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I loved being a host. It made me see the city I've lived in on and off for sometime from a different perspective. Meeting folks out for drinks from the site just felt so natural. They were down-to-earth just so easy to get along with. Speaks to the CouchSurfing culture I think.

Interests

I love the beach, being outside, trying new activities & food. Culture, music, art and dance excite me the most. I enjoy performing as much as I like seeing performances so any chance that I have to take dance classes from another culture I jump on it. I enjoy writing and having quiet moments to reflect on all the new things I encounter. I'm always up for making new friends.

I eat mostly a plant-based lifestyle, but I do venture off from it when I'm in the mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Simple things leave me reminiscing for days!
Like one hot day in Australia:
After getting lost in the hot sun for hours trying to find a our ferry, me and a group of new friends finally found the dock and took a relaxing trip to Manly beach in Australia where I finally got a burger, a beer, played beach volleyball(which I'm terrible at now lol) and relaxed in the sun. My kinda day.
