ABOUT ME

Travel is my passion. CS helps me get through those intermediate 'work' periods when I'm waiting to head out again. My goal is to see as much of the world as possible through working and living abroad.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that fear is the only thing stopping us from leading the lives we were meant to. I try not to let my fear of change or the unknown determine my life's direction. Sometimes you just have to gather yourself up to make a big jump in order to let amazing things happen to you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am in and out of couchsurfing as my life dictates, but I always seem to find my way back because its just such a beautiful concept and I've had the most incredible life experiences because of the people I've met.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has proved to be an incredible and eye opening experience for me. After an amazing introduction in London, I couldn't imagine traveling any other way. I would miss the people, the stories, and the feeling of having a home no matter where you are in the world. Many thanks to my hosts who opened their doors to me and left me inspired.

I love travel and I love adventures. I love weekends spent outdoors, whether that's camping, biking or just finding some green space to go hiking. I'm a casual indoor rock climber.

I could watch Pride and Prejudice (Colin Firth version) in my every free moment. It's just one of those movies I can never get tired of.

Took a year off from my job to discover the beauty of New Zealand! Had the most amazing time, met the most beautiful people, saw the most gorgeous mountains :)

Night sledding up on a mountain in Gimmelwald, switzerland...so beautiful and random.

Hitchhiking from Lille to Nice!! Camping out on the beaches, squatting undetected in a hostel for two days..meeting some crazy people/drivers and winning the amazing race!!

Hitchhiking from Gent to Prague/Vienna/Budapest with my friend Indi, meeting some awesome drivers, awesome couchsurfers and living life as it came for the week!!!

Hitchhiking from Helsinki, Finland, to Oslo, Norway. Taking a boat tour of the Norwegian fjords...climbing Preikestolen and witnessing what it feels like to stand on the edge of the earth.

Hiking the Grand Canyon and swimming in the Colorado. Visiting Zion National Park which holds some of the best natural adventures - the Narrows canyon and Angels landing hike.

Camel trek through the Sahara Desert, Morocco...beautiful sunset!

Just all of Thailand - probably the one place I could always return to. Angkor Wat in Cambodia was pretty awe-inspiring too.
