My name is Jen and I'm currently travelling for the foreseeable future with my partner, Jitto. We've been together for 5 years and have been saving for this trip for pretty much the entire duration of our relationship! We're super excited to couch surf on our journey and to meet locals and learn more about the culture and customs of countries we visit!

Before embarking on our year trip we both lived in London. I worked at a university and Jitto was a pharmacist. We love socialising and meeting other people, and we are also both keen cooks and would happily cook a meal for our host! Jitto is an avid photographer (you can check out his Instagram @j1tto) and I enjoy doing yoga and reading.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have couch surfed in France and had two very good, and very different experiences. I really enjoyed being able to stay with local people as I felt like I was getting a better insight to the region than if I'd stayed in a hostel/hotel.

For this reason, Jitto and I are keen to do it along our travels. Who knows, if you're ever in the UK we may be back to host you too!

Interests

We both love to travel, cook and meet new people. I love to dance, read, practice yoga and go on long walks. Jitto enjoys a cold beer, photography and is a football fanatic.

Music, Movies, and Books

Shantaram was the first book that inspired me to travel, but there are too many books I've loved to list!!! Jitto is more of a movie buff and his favourite movie is Inception because "it's the greatest thriller ever!"

We would happily teach our hosts some traditional English and Indian recipes, and
would also be happy to help people with their English.
