ABOUT ME

Normally I'm a pretty shy person but I push myself to step out of my shell and interact, converse, laugh. I love to stretch my mind, to listen to audio-books, to see new things, to meet new people, and learn about anything I can. I love to have friends over to share good conversation with a simple meal - something spontaneous over elaborate. I am learning dance, yoga, and Spanish right now. I learned to knit and crochet anything from toys to garments and can teach others - I bring a project with me everywhere I go so I can hold still. I am very open to listening, to new perspectives. It is not my job to judge others. It's my job to learn and live.

PHILOSOPHY

To love. It might sound a little mushy, but think about it. If every person were to treat others with respect, dignity and love (think Golden Rule), the world would be a much better place.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to go and do, but my life has been locked in this one town for most of my life. I am very new to being by myself and I think I like it! I try to make sure I see new things, even when I've been in the same place for a long time (there is always something new to see!). I love to go outside and enjoy the weather as long as I can come home to a warm house.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have any yet. I met a lady who has travelled using this website and decided to sign up. Soon after, I met another lady through this site, we went hiking, it was a lot of fun to have a new person so wholly unconnected to my circle to interact with for a morning.

兴趣

Womanly arts - knit, sew, crochet, candle & soap making, baking, that kind of thing. I make jam and pies, cookies and cakes. I like to watch movies and plays, and love seeing new things & getting to know new people. Thanks to the internet, I feel more like I know something useful every day!

Music? I love it. Doesn't matter what kind. Movies? I like movies. Almost all movies, but I love the witty movies with sarcasm, dark humor, or suspense, thrill, action, love stories, you name it. I don't like horror movies. At all. Audrey Hepburn flix, Dirty Dancing, Love Actually,
