About Me

PLEASE NOTE:
I have had a couple of negative experiences hosting recently where I have felt that the guest wanted a free place to sleep: as soon as I give them the WiFi code, they hibernate in their bedroom. Please, if you would like to be hosted by me, read my profile carefully and have a deep understanding about the Courchsurfer philosophy, which is to exchange cultural experiences.

CURRENT MISSION

to have a sustainable organic farm and guest house in a hot country, surrounded by water, mountains and warm people.

ABOUT ME

I'm a positive thinker, full of energy and ideas to improve our world. I like a challenge and think nothing is impossible. Some say I think *too* much!!

Love talking, rather than e-mail. And love listening to learn. I respect everyone, and value people more than animals.

PHILOSOPHY

to think positively and be cheerful
to be nice, kind, caring, thoughtful and altruistic

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

travelled through Venezuela during a delicate time of security checks on buses and at airports; food scarcity and shortage of toilet roll and toiletries

walked 80km in four days with my 15kg backpack from Vigo, west coast of Spain to Viana do Costelo the west coast of Portugal on the Camino Santiago de Compostina (backwards, but towärds the wind!)

watched a cow being slaughtered, cleaned, cooked and eaten in India

Teach, Learn, Share

I am part of an international cooking group in my city, so if you're visiting at the time of a busy period, you may be invited to a cooking workshop or community meal, which is a great experience!

I like to teach English, how to ride a bike, beginners skating, how to make Nepali tea.

I love to cook and share food: guacamole, hummous, bababganoush, 'friendly' pasta, icecream...!

I want to improve Spanish grammar.
I'd like to learn gymnastics, then to trapeze.
I want to know about water irrigation, solar energy and wind turbines.
I'd also like to make cheese from milking cows, goats or sheep.
I'd like to know how to make woodwork look beautiful without power tools.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Bulgaria, France, Guyana, Italy, Laos, Morocco, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Venezuela

Countries I’ve Lived In

India, Japan, Nepal, United Kingdom
