About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find the rabbit hole.
ABOUT ME
I've lived in California all my life. Haven't traveled internationally that much, but I've always had a strong interest in learning and immersing myself in other cultures and societies. I've always liked the process of traveling (journey as well as the destination), and I think most people are stellar.
Currently, I'm finishing up nursing school and have decided that nursing's the shit. I am very much drawn to public health and seeing how the big picture trickles down on the marginalized in society.
I'm a big nerd. I find many things interesting, which can be exhausting at times. I'm naturally a quiet person, but also very curious. I also thoroughly enjoy bars, lectures, conversation, discussion, eating, and dancing (badly).
I've lived in SF/Bay Area for almost 4 years and it is pretty baller. I love introducing my favorite spots and exploring new places solo or with others. There's the good (small city, easy to get around), the bad (fisherman's wharf), and the mighty good (awesome food and great music) all at your disposal.
PHILOSOPHY
Arrange whatever pieces come your way - V. Woolf

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Someone holding a muni train door open for me even though I was a block away. The kindness of individuals, no matter where I am, never ceases to amaze
Teach, Learn, Share
I did archery throughout high school, so that's something I can talk about or even teach
I'm almost a nurse (graduate may 09), so i can help people out with health stuff.
I'm also an HIV counselor, so I have some knowledge in regards to safer sex, harm reduction, and HIV transmission.
I can probably hold a conversation about Liberation Theology, if you're interested.
I can probably even teach a bit of English
