Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have just joined, though back in the day, before this new-fangled technology, I have invited strangers into my home, and been invited in turn. I always will pick up the hitchhiker, and have been part of ride share programs.

ohhh there are lots... natural building techniques (at this moment it is lime -very exciting), permaculture, design, abandoned buildings, thinking about life, Latin America, repurposing old stuff, home renovations (lots of home renovations in my life), music, letterpress printing, wild edibles, hmmm....

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Off the top of my head there is Amelie, Everything is Illuminated, Baraka, The Lego Movie, Searching For Sugarman, Whale Rider, Studio Ghibli, Tim Burton.... there are too many.
Music: all over the place...
Books: I can't read books anymore! Once I start, I can't stop, and that is not good when you have a child to feed.
